Introduction

UltraHub ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.

Information We Collect

Personal Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile information you choose to provide.

Activity Data: If you connect third-party services like Strava, we receive activity data such as workout details, distances, and times.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited and features used.

Location Data: With your permission, we collect location data to show you nearby sessions and events.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain our services
  • Connect you with clubs, sessions, and other athletes
  • Display leaderboards and challenge results
  • Send notifications about sessions and club activities
  • Improve our platform and develop new features
  • Communicate with you about updates and support

Strava and Fitness Integrations

If you connect Strava, we access your Strava data only after you authorize UltraHub through Strava's OAuth flow. This may include activity summaries (distance, duration, pace, elevation, type), performance metrics, and related profile information Strava provides to authorized apps.

We use this data to show your activity history, power training features, and—if you join a club and consent—club features such as leaderboards and activity feeds visible to that club's members and coaches. We do not sell Strava data or share it with data brokers, advertisers, or third parties for their independent use.

You can disconnect Strava anytime in the app under Profile → Account Settings → Integrations. Deleting your UltraHub account or disconnecting Strava triggers deletion of related Strava-derived data in our systems within 30 days, except where law requires retention. Written confirmation of deletion is available on request.

Strava is an independent controller of data on its platform. See the Strava Privacy Policy. Strava may also monitor API usage data from applications that use the Strava API, including UltraHub.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:

  • With other users when you use social or club features and have given consent (for example, club activity visible to members after you connect Strava and agree)
  • With service providers (subprocessors) such as Google Cloud/Firebase, Google Maps, PayFast, email providers, and—if you enable AI features—OpenAI
  • When required by law or to protect our rights

AI Recommendations

When enabled, AI features may use third-party providers such as OpenAI with limited, aggregated training metrics—not your passwords or OAuth tokens. Strava data is not used to train third-party AI models. You can disable AI recommendations in account settings.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Withdraw consent (for example, disconnect Strava or disable AI features)
  • Request written confirmation when your data has been deleted
  • Opt out of marketing communications

Third-Party Services

Our platform integrates with third-party services like Strava and Google Calendar. When you connect these services, their privacy policies also apply. The full in-app Privacy Policy at app.ultrahubsa.com contains additional detail for registered users.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
